Greenfield Water Scheme – Clutha District Council
Polyweld NZ has been contracted by Southern Trenching & Excavating LTD to carry out all HDPE welding activates on the Greenfield Water Scheme for the Clutha District Council.
This water pipeline will be constructed utilising both traditional trenching and trenchless methodologies. The project requires butt welding of all PE pipelines ranging in diameter from 180 – 400mm. Polyweld has had multiple crews working on this project to meet specific project deadlines during a very challenging winter of 2023. The project has had its difficulties with delays caused by weather, winter crops and lambing season.
